small batch ceramics

I have been diligent about my path in clay— striving to keep exploration and variation at the forefront. Making woodfired pots has satisfied a deep seeded desire to connect to the earth, fire, water, wood; the kiln being like a cave we work in for weeks at a time, twice a year. The cyclical making is also deeply satisfying (surprisingly, for someone who thinks time is a human construct and is often 15 minutes late)

As my life changes and I grow as a human, I can see my pots evolve along with me. I hope you enjoy looking at them, using them, and appreciating them as much as I do. You, the viewer/user completes the life cycle of each pot. I hope I can convey the love of the process and elements of handmade beauty.
